We want to provide a safe and healthy working environment for everyone. This policy sets clear rules about where smoking and vaping are allowed — to protect all employees, customers and visitors from second-hand smoke and create a respectful workplace. 

What You Need to Do

  • Do not smoke or vape in the workplace or company vehicles, unless you're in a designated outdoor area.
  • If you work from home, don’t smoke in spaces used for meetings with customers or colleagues.
  • Dispose of cigarette butts responsibly and follow signage.
  • Speak to your manager if you need help to stop smoking — we’ll support you where we can.
  • Be aware that breaking these rules may lead to disciplinary action.

FAQs

Q: Can I vape at work?
A: No — even though vaping isn’t banned by law, we don’t allow it in the workplace as the vapour may bother others.

Q: Where can I smoke?
A: Only in designated outdoor areas. If not, please step away from entrances and dispose of cigarettes properly.

Q: Can I get help to quit?
A: Yes — we’re happy to support you. Speak to your manager or HR for information about local stop-smoking groups or support.
